Accessibility
How the Nevada Bag Company website is built for accessibility, what has been tested, the gaps we know about, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our commitment
We want anyone who needs a bulk bag specified to be able to use this site and reach us. Every page here is built to target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — from our homepage through to the quote form.
What this site does
- Every interactive control can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, and the focus indicator stays visible against both the light and dark backgrounds used here.
- Text and interface colours are measured against the actual background they sit on rather than assumed. Where a colour proved too light for body text, the darker step replaced it across the whole site rather than only in the place it was noticed.
- Headings run in order and describe the content beneath them, so a screen-reader user can navigate by heading rather than reading top to bottom.
- Images carry text alternatives that describe what is in them.
- Links that open a PDF in a new tab say so before you activate them.
- Animation respects your operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
- An accessibility toolbar is available on every page for adjusting text size, contrast and motion.
- Videos are click-to-play — nothing moves or plays sound on its own — and both carry a captions track. Neither contains speech; the captions say so, and describe the machinery sound that is there.
Known gaps
We would rather name these than claim the site is flawless:
- Product guides (PDFs). Our downloadable guides are print-origin documents and have not been remediated for screen readers. If you need the information in any of them in an accessible format, ask us and we will provide it.
How we check
Claims on this page are tested, not assumed. Every page is run through an automated WCAG 2.1 AA checker at four screen widths — 320, 768, 1024 and 1440 pixels — because a layout that passes on a desktop can still fail on a phone. Automated checking only catches part of the picture, so it is paired with checks a tool cannot make: tabbing through every page from the first control to the last, confirming the focus outline is visible at each stop, opening and closing the menu with the keyboard alone to confirm focus returns where it started, and reading the measured contrast of text against the exact colour behind it rather than the colour we intended.
Where audio is involved we check the recording itself rather than trusting a note about it. The two homepage videos were analysed frame by frame across their full length to establish that neither carries speech before we described them that way.
If something does not work
Tell us. A specific report — the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using — lets us fix the actual problem rather than guess at it.
You can tell us through the contact form, email info@nevadabagcompany.com, or call or text (725) 251-1226 — whichever of the three works for you. We aim to respond within one business day.
If the barrier is stopping you getting a quote, say so and we will take the details over the phone and specify the bag with you directly. Nobody should have to fight a website to buy something.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is checked as part of building and changing pages on this site, not as a one-off audit. This statement is updated when a gap is closed or a new one is found.
